DRT-14
DC motors of the DRT series are used to drive mine electric locomotives.
The DRT-14 electric motor allows replacing the DRT-13M with the mine shaft electric locomotives AM8D, 2xAM8D without changing the attachment points, electrical circuits of the electric locomotive.
Lower operating costs and increased reliability of the DRT-14 were achieved thanks to modern design solutions. The design of the device provides for an increased volume at the anchor, a welded bed. In single-turn sections of the anchor winding (wave) wedge mount, the crosshead is adjustable, with brush holders made of brass. According to the test results, it is possible to increase the mass of the composition, excellent commutation on the collector. The performance is soft.
The devices have sequential excitation, a reverse direction of rotation.
